Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon puts a mockumentary twist on the horror genre. A young psycho killer allows a documentary crew to follow him as he prepares for a night of murderous rampage in a small town. He idolizes horror slashers Mike Myers, Freddie and Jason and dissects the genre for the benefit of his viewers. The film is directed by Scott Glosserman who co-wrote the script with David J. Stieve.
